Mechanisms of mRNA decay in human cells

Messenger RNA stability is a key layer of gene expression control. In this seminar we will discuss how human cells recognise and degrade transcripts, and how these pathways are rewired in disease.

The talk will cover recent structural and functional insights into the major cytoplasmic decay machineries, followed by an open discussion. The seminar is open to everyone — students and researchers from outside the institute are very welcome.
